Sometimes your NOOK Color will not allow you to install any Apps. Perhaps you see an error message say "unable to download onto your device." Chances are your operating system needs updating and wont install apps until you get the new version.
You can try buying another app like Angry Birds (this app is highly recommended) but I'm very certain it wont install either.
